Dear All, We are almost ready to send out the electronic brochures for this years conference-but thought it would be helpful to whet your appetites with a reminder of this years anticipated conference.

The dates are from Friday evening June 26th where our opening guest speaker will be Kevin Roy(Muldersdrift ) ,then for the main sessions we will be having Joel Beeke,and Martin Holdt-as this year is the 5ooth anniversary of John Calvin’s birth,we are going to have Calvinism as a prominent and underlying theme-but obviously the talks are all biblical and contemporary and relevant for RSA in 2009.The conference closes on Wed July 1st after breakfast.

Can we urge all pastors and treasurers to try and give attention to special means of financing those in their church who would especially benefit from the conference but can’t afford it.

The costs this year, full board are Aduts R 1 200; Children 7 – 18 R1 125;Children 4 – 6 R 600 and Babies R 265

This years conference is sure to be special so please pray ,and especially for our youth that attend,that they may be gripped in a marvellous way by the doctrines of God’s glorious grace.

Speakers

Dr Joel Beeke is President of the Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary, Grand Rapids and also a Pastor of the Heritage Netherlands Reformed Congregation in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Dr Beeke is known to Skogheim and addressed our conference in 1999. Dr Martin Holdt is a good friend of this conference . He pastors the congregation at Constantia Park Baptist Church, Pretoria. Dr Kevin Roy is a first time speaker and we welcome him. He is married to Jantina and has three children. Over the years he has pastored churches; lectured; worked as an evangelist and currently is chairman of the South African Baptist Historical Society. In addition he is pastor of Muldersdrift Union Church.
